There is a woman/sister that needs to hear this today. You are loved, you are precious, you are enough.
I woke up unusually early this morning, about 7. Usually I’m up closer to about 9. I lay in bed thinking about all what I have to do in the coming days and weeks leading up to my wedding. The list just seemed never ending and overwhelming. I was thinking about all the wedding related things and basic bills involved with living that I have to pay for with no idea really how I would get it all done or pay for it all in time. Weddings are expensive, particularly weddings with a 300+ guest list.
Finally after laying in bed for some time thinking and thinking, I got up and started getting ready for my day. A little thought came to me and said what do you want to do with your day?
In honour of International Women’s Day I thought to share with you what the bible has to say about a strong woman in Proverbs 31. Although it talks a lot about being a wife, the happily single ladies can also take away something from the resourcefulness and strength described in the Proverbs 31 Women.
I was speaking to a client the other day and she shared these inspiring words with me. So many times we get caught up in “our stuff”. It’s good to be reminded about why we’re doing what we’re doing. Thank you Bev! I hope her words inspire you to continuing serving others and yielding to your calling.
