There is a woman/sister that needs to hear this today. You are loved, you are precious, you are enough.
Happy Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for this weekend. But thanksgiving shouldn’t just be one weekend of the year, it should be every weekend and every day. Being grateful on a daily basis can seriously impact your life in a positive way. Thanksgiving is a time of year where we are meant to look back on our lives and reflect on all the things we are grateful for.On this Thanksgiving Monday I would like to take the time and list a few of the many things I am most grateful for. Count my blessings if you will. Here’s my top 5
Everyone who knows me, knows that coffee is my drink of choice. Not just for the great “pick-me-up” it gives me in the morning, but for the taste, the aroma, the colour, the texture… I love everything about coffee. The problem is that coffee gets a bad rap a lot of the time meanwhile there are quite a few health benefits to drinking coffee daily. So for your enjoyment and to give all my fellow coffee drinkers ammunition the next time you hear someone say “coffee is bad for you” here are 5 rebuttals!
It has long been a dream of mine to experience living in another country. I was never sure when the opportunity would arise or where in the world I would end up. God saw fit to fulfill this dream of mine in the form of my husband who lives in Paris, France. So it was decided early on in our dating relationship that we would spend some time in Paris before settling for good in Canada. (more…)
Today is Father’s Day and all around the country people are are celebrating their earthly fathers. While I certainly appreciate my dad for all he is and all he’s done I want to take a moment to speak about my Heavenly Father. Without him I wouldn’t even have the earthly father that I’ve been blessed with.
On May 20th, 2017 I married my God-sent husband and best friend in a simple ceremony in my dad’s church. My day was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for more from my family, friends, wedding vendors and all who participated to make our day so special. Most importantly, God showed up and that made all the difference in the world. This is our wedding slideshow put together beautifully by our very talented and gifted photographer Sarah Neal.
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished.” He bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.
I woke up unusually early this morning, about 7. Usually I’m up closer to about 9. I lay in bed thinking about all what I have to do in the coming days and weeks leading up to my wedding. The list just seemed never ending and overwhelming. I was thinking about all the wedding related things and basic bills involved with living that I have to pay for with no idea really how I would get it all done or pay for it all in time. Weddings are expensive, particularly weddings with a 300+ guest list.
Finally after laying in bed for some time thinking and thinking, I got up and started getting ready for my day. A little thought came to me and said what do you want to do with your day?
