I am reminded once again that God is hearing my hearts cry, He is hearing my unspoken words that I hold deep in my heart, my deepest desires and my fears also. He hears it all and He cares about it and He’s working it out for me. Sometimes it feels like He’s not talking to us, we can’t hear His Voice or don’t feel Him near, but we need to be open to receive the message He’s sending to us and in what way.

I am a foodie. I must confess… I love food, not enormous quantities of food, just really good tasting food. I love to experience new flavors and new restaurants. My father (who is a pastor) felt the leading of the Holy Spirit to call a prayer meeting this Sunday morning specifically for families to pray together and for each other. It was a wonderful moment spent in the presence of God talking to Him about my husband, my son, parents, sisters, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
But there’s something that struck me that my dad mentioned before we went into the prayer part of the service. (more…)
I had a very interesting conversation today with a woman about intuitive eating and learning to trust my body to tell me what it needs for nourishment. Intuitive eating or mindful eating is something I’ve long believed in but never really had the courage to do and I also had no clue how to go about it. (more…)
The day after my birthday, on February 28th at 9:21pm I finally met my son Gabriel King. It was a wonderful moment filled with so much awe, that love created this perfect little person.
