On May 20th, 2017 I married my God-sent husband and best friend in a simple ceremony in my dad’s church. My day was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for more from my family, friends, wedding vendors and all who participated to make our day so special. Most importantly, God showed up and that made all the difference in the world. This is our wedding slideshow put together beautifully by our very talented and gifted photographer Sarah Neal.

I woke up unusually early this morning, about 7. Usually I’m up closer to about 9. I lay in bed thinking about all what I have to do in the coming days and weeks leading up to my wedding. The list just seemed never ending and overwhelming. I was thinking about all the wedding related things and basic bills involved with living that I have to pay for with no idea really how I would get it all done or pay for it all in time. So I’m reading The Wait by DeVon Frankling and Meagan Good and I am finding this book to be very insightful in a lot of ways, not just marriage and dating. Here are a few inspiring tidbits I thought to share with you that I find are quite impactful.
Change is coming! The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
